Which product of Microsoft can be used in place Threat Management Gateway 2010?

For forward proxy scenarios, you need to look to 3<sup>rd</sup> party. As Microsoft is discontinuing any further releases of TMG. If it is for reverse proxy, UAG will be a better choice. If you are using Exchange 2013, we are adding basic antimalware protection to it. This protection can be easily turned off, replaced, or paired with other services (like Exchange Online Protection) to provide a layered defense.

Not so secure solution but sometimes IIS with ARR is enough. For example, as a reverse proxy for Lync Server. UAG based on TMG Services , but it designed for providing direct access and somethning like this. But, some functions of TMG is available
