Ok, so my friend has a computer running Windows Vista, that one day stopped working. It seems that he has the dreaded "exe virus," because he can't seem to run any exe's whatsoever. Every time he clicks on an exe, it immediately says "...Has encountered an error and needs to shut down." or something to that effect. He has already tried opening in safe mode and running "Malware Bytes AntiMalware," but it has turned up nothing. What should we do?
