Why is Backup utility is estimating 473GB of space on an external drive in order to back up an 80GB drive?
I have an 80 GB drive on a D620 Dell laptop. I am using the Backup utility from Windows XP SP3. The Backup utility is estimating 473GB of space. I would guess it would be closer to 80 GB of space required. I will not have enough room on my external drive. What is wrong here?1 person needs an answerI do too

What is wrong here?Use Acronis True Image Home ,Paragon Drive Image , orCasper to make a disk image or disk clone instead of using NTBackup. The investment in any of these products is worthwhile.
