Why won't the Ad-Hoc ICS between my Vista and 7 not work?
We have 2 laptops, a Vista Home Basic and a 7 Home Premium. They used to be able to connect via Ad-Hoc and share an internet connection. The routine used to go as follows: Open Networkand Sharing Center => Setup a New Connection or Network => Setup a Wireless Ad-Hoc => .... and after I setup the connection, the last page asks me if I want to enable internet connection sharing by presenting me with a button. Now, the button does not come up, and I don't know why. I've tried setting it up manually, but it doesn't seem to work. Again, it just didn't happen one day, and I just don't know why. Thank you!
