Will this beta automatically update to the release candidate version when it is made availible?
Unfortunately I can't recall if this was the case with previous Windows betas. Thanks!

Absolutely no. We don't know yet that will be possible or not to upgrade from beta to RC manually, but automatic updates never happen.Microsoft MVP - Group Policy

Thanks. I was really more concerned with the possibility of moving to the RC as opposed to whether it was automatic or not.

HiYou cannot update a beta 'automatically', you can only update manually between beta versions.Remember it's a beta, so nothing is guaranteed, you may be required to remove a previous version before updating to the next version.Once the beta goes gold (RTM) you will need to purchase a license for that final version. Theremight be a promotional offer at the end of the beta, where people who were actively submitting bugs during the beta period will get a complimentary license, but this is not guaranteed. This was the case with the Vista beta.Hope this helps. Hi Ronnie, through which channel did one have to submit bugs in order to be considered for that offer last time?
