Hello I have four win7 pro (64bit and 32bit) computers and I have problem in two of those. Two are working fine and are the same pro versions. With two computers, I was able to configure IKEv2 based VPN from Network and Sharing Center->Setup a new connection->connect to a workplace and the connection was created as WAN Miniport (IKEv2). I was able to see and modify settings, such as use of computer certificate etc. So, this is what I would like to do, create IKEv2 based VPN connection. Now, after I did some testing with those two computers and was happy, I decided to configure two more computers to use same kind of VPN, there was a problem. When I created the connection from Network and Sharing Center->Setup a new connection->connect to a workplace, connection was created so that the type is not WAN Miniport (IKEv2) but traditional dial up with modem. No IKEv2 settings available regardind the connection, just basic modem settings. Two new problematic computers belong to the same domain than two working ones and are exactly the same version. I even created configuration package with CMAK and installed it successfully. With working computers it works like a charm, but in problematic computers, VPN connection cannot be opened. I compared running services from working and non-working computer, no differencies found (IKE ja IPsec Policy Agent running). I also checked from Device Manager (show hidden devices) -> network adapters, WAN Miniport (IKEv2) is there in both, working and non-working computers. Any hints, what is wrong with the two computers when I cannot create WAN Miniport (IKEv2) connection at all? Regards, Kimmo

Hi, Maybethe computers already have a dial-up VPN. Please select the No, create a new o create a new connection. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your answer. Computers do not have any dial up connections defined, only LAN, WLAN and Mobile Broadband connection. Selecting "No, create a new connection" does not have any affect, type is never WAN Miniport (IKEv2). Regards, Kimmo
