Win7 Desktop freezing
I have a problem with freezing icons on my desktop. It happens when I startusing Int.Explore and still kepping frozen after I finished with IE. At the begining I frequentlyrebooted my machine untilI found diffrent way.(which still is pain in the neck, anyway). So, when the decktop freezes itself I go down to taskbar, right click, popup Task Manager in there I go to Processes where usually I'm finding four iexplore.exe. Now I eliminate them one by one until icons on the desktop unfreezes. Usually it is the one with least "K" in Memory.I'm using Win7 CR, witch is absolutely fantastic, except for the above problem.Maybethere issomeone who can help?Kris

Krzmat - It may be the sites you're visiting that are causing the problem. It can be anything - a Javascript gone wrong,a crashed flash animiation, a hosed ActiveX component. Or it could be something in IE 8 that's not working properly. It's hard to say withoutgoing to the URLs in question first hand and duplicating the problem. You might try running some of these sites in Compatability mode - if applicable. If the sites in question are public enough, please post the URLs to some of the sites you visit that can cause this problem to pop up. Obviously, if the culprit is your banking site, that would NOT be a good idea.

I also have this problem, and have found that it doesn't matter what sites I visit, it still freezes. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
