GiveBitlocker or Bitlocker-to-go a try if you want full hard disk encryption, or to encrypt USB drives

Have you tried using True Crypt in Compatibility Mode to try and do what you want? If it doesnt work in Compatibility Mode then you will have to wait for a update from True Crypt to the software for it to be fully compatible. As there were some changes to the core system files that could allow for True Crypt not to function properly. ~Alex T.~Windows Desktop Experience MVP~

Hi, I created an encrypted volume on an USB drive. Can TrueCrypt on Win7 mount it? Thanks

Greerings BentoS,I'm using TrueCrypt Portable to mount an encrypted file stored on an USB pendrive. No issues so far. It works perfect.Regards,W7 Beta running on an AMD Semprom 3200+ (1800Mhz) with 2 Gbs of RAM and a built-in Nvidia 6100 VGA, and mate, it runs like a charm! And now on my VAIO FE31M Laptop.
