WinSock status
Cannot connect to internet. Ran a diagnosis and it said Winsock Status error attempting to validate the winsock base providers: 2 Not all base service provider entries could be found in the winsock catalog. A reset is needed. Then directed me to support. HELP..... everything else is perfect....1 person needs an answerI do too

According to "Shen", You might try logging in as an Administrator and typing the following in at the command prompt:"netsh winsock reset catalog"See his post at:http://forums.techarena.in/networking-security/1219556.htmI would be leery of the registry changes mentioned at the end of the post though. You can really mess your computer up if you are reckless changing the registry. "JohnWill" also recommends the above command at:http://forums.techguy.org/networking/518278-solved-internet-connection-problems.htmlagain try to avoid changing your registry if you can.
