Win 7 Backup error 0x8100002f
I was backing up my files and it completed but skipped the following files: Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Files. Error:(The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)) Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Files\New folder. Error:(The system cannot find the path specified. (0x80070003)) Are these files needed and of so what do I do? The backup took forever as it is so I really dont want to have to redo it for 2 files! Ughhhh Thx!

Hi, This problem is due to one or more profiles under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList with missing ProfileImagePath. I found a similiar thread for your reference. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/bff71aac-c78e-42bd-a959-116019c93478/ Thanks. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
