Win 7 and internet connect inconsistent
Hi, I upgraded about a week ago to WIN7. Up until Wend, I was able to get onto the internet with out any connection issue with both firefox and IE8. Yesterday and today. I keep getting either page cannot be displayed in firefox ot diagnosis problem in IE8. I need to refresh the browser several times and then I finally connect. I pinged several sites and sometimes I get an answer and other times it times out with no answer. I am having other issues with Win 7 and they are also related to internet usage, but that was for another forum. This issue like I said just started to happen, after several days of no issues. Thanks

I also looked at my network adapters and everything is ok except for a yellow flag for microsoft teredo Tunneling adapter, I tried to update this driver, but the reply was that I have the most current one. In the general tab I have this message This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I suggest you roll back the network adapter driver. How to Roll Back a Device Driver If the issue persists, please temporary disable the anti-virus and firewall and check the result. If the issue still occurs, please disable all startup items and third party services when booting. This method will help us determine if this issue is caused by a loading program or service. Please perform the following steps:1. Click the Start Button type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search box, and then press Enter. Note: If prompted, please click Continue on the User Account Control (UAC) window.2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray). 3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK". Then, restart the computer. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please check the "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" box and click OK. Please test this issue in the Clean Boot environment, if the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, we can use a 50/50 approach to quickly narrow down which entry is causing the issue.Arthur Xie - MSFT

For some reason I am no longer having the issue any more. The only thing I tried was to upgrade the driver, which windows says I have the best driver, so nothing was updated. The yellow flag is still there. The other thing I did was upgrade to Firefox 3.5.3 but I was having the issue in both Ie and Firefox. So I don't know what changed. The good news is that I no longer need to refresh every time I go to a new site. Thanks for your help. If it continues, I will try your suggestion. Thanks,
