Win 7 freezing when saving to network share
I have a Win7 Pro 64bit that is freezing when saving to a share hosted by a 2008 R2 server. This just started 2 weeks ago and nothing on either has changed since this began. I have checked for windows updates as well as driver updates. This is primarily happening when saving AutoCAD files but does happen with other files.

I suggest you upgrade the driver for the network adapter. If it does not work, please restore the system with an earlier restore point and check the result. If the issue persists, please let us know if the issue occurs in Safe Mode with Networking. You may consider to disable Remote Differential compression. 1. Click Start – Control Panel – Programs – Trun Windows features on or off 2. Uncheck “Remote Differential Compression” and click OK. 3. Restart the computer and you should see an improved performance with copying files. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
