Available in Microsoft Connect but not in my TechNet subscription?W7 Beta running on an AMD Semprom 3200+ (1800Mhz) with 2 Gbs of RAM and a built-in Nvidia 6100 VGA, and mate, it runs like a charm! And now on my VAIO FE31M Laptop.

It will also be part of TechNet and MSDN subscription. Whether MS Connect or Technet/MSDN will receive the build first, we don't know. However most probably the RC build will be released one day after the other program/subscription.Jabez Gan [MVP] - http://www.msblog.org Contributing Author for: (Sybex) MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration Study Guide: Exam 70-643

The RC build of Windows 7 doesn't exist on connect neither is it likely to until, possibly, a short time before the public release is made available. When the public release is made available all interested partied will be able to test it.John Barnett MVP: Windows XP Associate Expert: Windows Desktop Experience: Web: http://www.winuser.co.uk; Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org; Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org;

The only build available on Connect is build 7000. No further builds have been added or are likely to be added until around the scheduled time of the public RC release.John Barnett MVP: Windows XP Associate Expert: Windows Desktop Experience: Web: http://www.winuser.co.uk; Web: http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org; Web: http://vistasupport.mvps.org;

John, you're a straight-shooter. Maybe you can clarify a point that I feel you might have hedged a bit.I previously posted:What makes anybody thinkan untestedWindows 7 RCeven exists? Itis all rumorat this point. Be a sport and help Microsoftout. Downloadthe well-seasoned Vista SP2 RCinstead. It will make you feel good to be of service.You followed with:The RC build of Windows 7 doesn't exist on connect neither is it likely to until, possibly, a short time before the public release is made available. When the public release is made available all interested partied will be able to test it.My question now:Do differentpeoplewith different Connect accounts get different levels of privilege and access?
