Got window 7 to install on hyper v win 8 pro but the sound and networking is not working.

Is this a fresh VM install?  We have had reports were users transferred a VMWare VM over and had to remove the VM Additions software and load the Hyper-V Integration Services software before a NIC would appear.  Is this the case?  If not, have you installed the Hyper-V Integration Services as a "just in case" to see if that helps?  Also, under the settings of the VM do you have a NIC added?  Thanks.

as Chris DeCarlo pointed out . I think your problem fix with integration services .

Install Integration Services on Hyper-V VMs in Windows 8

Make sure and update the Virtual Machine Integration components and update the NIC drivers on your host.

As for sound, it's not supported in Hyper-V, but if you connect to the VM with the normal Remote Desktop, it emulates sound.
