Window Network Question
Hi all, I am using Microsoft Network and Domain architecture and I have some shared files with a specific autorization policy on that folders existing at machine M1 installed at building A. Now I am logining from machine M2 installed at building B using my administration privilieges. Can I, from Machine M2 at building B, access to Machine M1 at building A and change in the autorization policy of the shared folders existing at machine M1? |___M1 (shared files)______| <--------------------|_______M2______| Building A Building B Thank you for your answer. Sincerely

Policies, permissions, rights are all independent of physical network structure. Unless there is a firewall or other device filtering traffic between the two hosts (source and destination), it is not going to matter where hte hosts are on your network. Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
