Window image restore hdd sector
Recently I create a system image before my hard disk is dead. So when I restore it to another good HDD, it perform quite ok for sometimes. But a month later, the performance went back to the same as my hard disk is dying. Could it be the windows actually recover those bad sector into my new healthy hdd? If yes, how could I avoid that?

The only reason I create a system image is because I don't have to worry all the software license but now it is biting me back.

Before doing the above steps.. run diagnostic on your system and check any issues on the hardware.

Hi, As far as I know, system image won't restore bad sector on hard drive. The issue can be affected by other factors. What is the situation now? Can you boot to Windows? If so, please perform an repair install first.
