Trying to help my sister who has NO internet access after installing the new WINDOWS 10 on her computer. How should she fix the issues of the Ethernet not working if she can't get online, neither of our computers have wi-fi? All the solutions I have found so far want the person to log onto the net to fix the Ethernet issues, and she can't. 

Any help I can get with this would be most appreciated.

Is there even a NIC in the device manager? Are there any errors associated with the NIC?  Or any errors in the device manager in general?

I have no clue what that would even be, I am a computer dummy. I have no clue what you just asked me.

More often than not when a device isn't working it is because the driver has become corrupted. Re-installing a fresh copy should help
