Windows 7, cannot delete files from desktop
I have four .jpg files on my desktop (Windows 7) that I tried to delete. I get the following error when trying to delete them: "Could not find this item. This is no longer located in... . Verify the item's location and try again.

knroes, This seems like it might be related to an anti-virus or firewall application locking the file. I have also seen a workaround with this by using the 8.3 folder/file name here[1] and here[2] Hope this helps.
