Windows 7 64 bit Internet Problem
Hi there, I have Win7 64 and I'm having some annoying problems browsing the web. It seems like the connection keeps falling, now I have 5 tabs opened and browsing well the next minute I get timeouts like there's no connection... This happens with both Internet Explorer and Firefox, if I'm playing online or downloading something I have no issues. I have all drivers up to date including my Realtek 8111C Lan and I've noticed that it only happens when it's connected to a SMC Barricade 7004VBR router, If I connect directly to the cable modem all works well! I've tried disabling IPv6 and homegroup but the problem persists!!! What should I try next???

Hi JayMarkez, According to your description, it seems the issue is related to the router and its settings. Please check if the router settings are set correctly. You can refer to the user manual or contact the router manufacturer for more information about the router settings. Also, if another router is available, please test it to see if the issue occurs. Regards, Linda
