Windows 7 AppData folder and Viruses
I have a question about which files and folder should be in under the AppData folder. I have Local, LocalLow and Roaming. My questions is becasue where I work several people is getting the fake antivirus all the time, and the company does not want us to use as example Malwarebytes to clean the computer. wha we are doing is a system restore to "remove" the changes in the registry. but this does not delete the virus/malware. So what I do is go to AppData folder and then Local and delete all temp files. (I donnot know the path to get to all Internet temp files under the ContentIE5 folder) Every time I clean the computers right under AppData is about 3 files that does not have a name that I would understand. I looked them in google and nothing comes up. just a couple times I found that one of this files was something about the profile. Is it safe for me to delete this files and oly leave the 3 folders (Local LocalLow and Roaming)? thanks

Do not manually delete the virus. I suggest you try Windows Live OneCare online scan for Windows 7, or install MSE as an antivirus and scan the system. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
