Windows 7 Backup & Restore will not start
I'm in the case described in the above topic opened by Flint54 where ACRONIS prevent Windows backup/restore from starting. The suggestion given by Vincent Labatut seems to be the one I shoulkd follow, except that I don't understand what to do once I reach
the registry key (ie. HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{B98A2BEA-7D42-4558-8BD1-832F41BAC6FD}\Instance\InitPropertyBag). Could someone explain to me what I have to do to make the registry entry points to windows backup/restore native functions ?
I had ACRONIS 2012 but I threw it it's why I'm in trouble.
Thank you a lot.
Windows 7 SP1 up to date on a Dell Inspiron.
No more acronis in it

Hi,
Does the issue occur when you remove ACRONIS?
The issue can be caused by the incompatible or conflict issue.
Please remove third party programs and logon with
Clean Boot to see if the same issue occurs.
If the issue persists, you can try to perform an in-place upgrade to fix it:
