Windows 7 Backup to multiple external hard drives
I need to be able to schedule a backup to two different external USB drives. The Windows 7 Backup does not allow me to do this. (At least I haven't been able to get it to work properly). Here's what I need to be able to do: Use a backup solution where the user can "rotate" external drives each week.Need to be able to change each Friday. (User takes home one drive and connects the other).Backup set must be automated. The person doing the backups is not very computer savvy. Does anyone know either: Is there any way to get Windows 7 Backup to work this way? (I've searched online and the solutions that I found for Server 2008 do not work for Windows 7).Or, a free or inexpensive third-party solution that will accomplish this task. (Free or Inexpesive is due to fact that we purchased other software already that did not do the trick, and there's not much left in the budget now for this). Any help is appreciated. Consider purchasing a GoFlex Home Network Storage System. The Seagate Share service lets you remotely access your files from any PC or Mac with a web browser and Internet connection. No need to have more than one backup drive. Carey Frisch

Hi, I dont suggest you back up with external hard drives automatically, since sometimes the drive letters of USB drives would change, any static path backup settings would not work successfully. Why dont you have a backup with NAS?Ivan-Liu TechNet Community Support
