Windows 7 Beta 1 folder problems...
I am using Windows 7 Beta 1 (not RC1). I have two drives: one 80 gb with XP and one 20 gb with 7. (its a dual boot system.) I wanted to access some folders from My Documents on my XP drive in my 7 drive. So I tried to access it in 7, and it said i don't have sufficient permission to view it, and it walked me through setting the permissions right and all that. So now i can access My Documents in Windows 7, but in XP it says that the folder cannot be found and that it doesn't exist. I tried resetting the permissions, but nothing is working. HELP!

Hi DrummerboyThe Takeown utility is already on your Windows 7 installation.Open an elevated command prompt and type takeown /? to see all of the commands.PS. We are urging everyone who is still running the Windows 7 beta 1 to upgrade to the newer Release Candidate.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 RC Ronnie Vernon MVP
