Windows 7 GINA
This is a complicated one. I have HP Remote Graphics Software which is only supported under Window XP. It uses GINA for easy login. I Know Windows 7 and Vista have changed methods. I am looking for a way to get this software to work. One thought would be to install the software under XP Mode, but I am not sure how to make this work (I know how to install xp mode and the HP RGS Software). I'll explain, when I start HP RGS on the receiver side it call the sender unit (which is installed in xp mode). How do i get the Sender to authenticate the Windows 7 machine through XP Mode? Is this possible? How do I even get XP mode running before I login? Thanks, I am at a loss.

Hello, I have tested to remote another computer in the Windows XP mode, and it works. The Windows 7 computer can be authenticated. However, I dont install HP Remote Graphics Software and have no idea whether it can run properly in Windows XP mode. It is better that you also contact HP support to ask them whether HP Remote Graphics Software can run under Windows XP mode. Besides, the authentication depends on the network settings on the virtual machine. It is better if you set the network connection as bridge connection. As to the second question, please refer to the link below to run HP Remote Graphics Software under Windows XP mode before you login. You should replace the Internet Explorer in the article with HP Remote Graphics Software. Windows XP Mode Internals Part 2 (Application Publishing Magic) I wish the suggestions will be helpful.
