Windows 7 Networking
I have just installed 4 PC's running windows 7 professional. The Internet connection originally was a shaed ADSL2 connection connected to machine 1 and shared between the other 3 via a cisco 10/100 switch. This didn't work so I replaced it with an ADSL2 router. The PC's are all in the same workgroup and are all using DHCP. Initially all PC's could see each other and access files, then workstation 1 could see the other 3 and the other 3 could see workstation1 but when trying to access shared directories or install a shared printer it asked for a network password. I have switched off password sharing in the network sharing centre along with having network detection on, file and print sharing on. I have flushed the ARP cache on all PC's but nothing seems to work. I have changed the workgroup on all the PC's as workstation1 has shared folders that all the other PC's need to access. All the PC's have the network set to "work" in the network sharing centre. What else can i do Thanks
