Windows 7 Offline files - IT it impossible to delete a sync?
Hi! I have a few drives connected with Offline files syncing, which seemed as a good idéa, but now I'm stuck with a folder of 10GB size that seems to be impossible to remove, at least without removing the contents on the "server". From the Windows sync center it seems to be impossible to remove those shares. I have seen solutions with editing the registry to remove ALL shares, but I still have shares that need to remain. Is it truly possible that a company as big as Microsoft has made a such critical issue as this. It seems pretty obvious that you should let the users have full control over their Offline Files WITHOUT filthy register hack and such. Sometimes I can hardly believe that Microsoft actually can release features as broken as this. I hope that there exist a simple way of doing this, even thou it should be simple enough for a user to do it without the need of support.

Hi, From your post, I have the following understanding and I think you may want to do one of them: 1. You would like to remove the Offline Files cache for the 10GB shared folder which you have made it offline. As I know, there may be no way to remove single cache for one of the shared folders. To remove all the cache, please try the following: Error message in Windows Vista when you try to rename a new subfolder in a shared folder on a network: "The <SharedFolderName> folder does not exist" 2. You want to disconnect the share folder you have mapped. If so, please just disconnect share folder. If I still have something misunderstand, please feel free to let me know. Thanks.
