Windows 7 Ping Lagg online games
I have a an windows 7. It seems the problem is somewhat related to the sound drive, I don't know why. I used to have windows vista my ping used to be 50-70 and now it moved to 100-300 its a great change that made my playing experience suck, I am sure that is Windows 7 related, or some specific feathers that came with windows 7, but Not problem with my Network, because i didn't have any problems with windows vista, and still on the other computers at home that are windows vista don't have that problem. With all that commercial that u made about windows 7 being faster gaming experience, its the first and only windows that make it suck! Windows xp, windows vista didn't have this problem. They should say windows 7 with the worst online gaming experience. (NO offense) THE ONLY WAY I FOUND THAT IT WORK is to disable the sound drive, the ping would go back to the way it should be, but you will have to play without sound... I still don't see the relations it seems that the sound drive is some kind related to the internet somehow during online game play, i don't know... (I play Fps online games) (I am not the first a lot if its not all of the people who got windows 7 are facing this problem) (I updated all of my drivers, sound, Network everything still have the problem) PLs Find a solution for this problem.

Hi, can you tell me what is the brand and model of the sound drive? What is your Windows 7 Edition? As you said it works well when you disable the sound drive, it is a possible that your sound drive has conflict with the game. Please try to install the driver of sound card with Vista compatible mode to see if the same issue appears: 1. Right click the driver and click the Properties option. 2. Select the Compatibility tab. 3. Select the Run This Program in Compatibility Mode option. 4. From the drop-down list, choose the operating system you ran before upgrading to Vista. 5. If necessary, select the option to run the program as an administration. 6. Click OK. Anymore, you can try to run this game with Windows XP Mode for test: Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 Hope it helps. thanks for replying... I want to rephrase what i wrote before. I have toshiba Satellite L305-S5934, 32-bit system, windows 7 pro I want to rephrase the problem THE ISSUE IS: While playing online games (i mean Fps online game) my ping spikes i mean its high and stay that way..... it just go back as it originally should be when i turn my sound drive off. It originally should be 60-70 >> it become 130-200 (Didn't had the problem when i had windows vista) i actually tried downloading windows 7 on 2 other laptops... and it seem that the game worked fine there... the problem seem with my computer and windows 7... (the computers that i tried it on are, one is toshiba, and the other is HP) I tried to reinstall windows 7 on my computer, maybe some error in installation, but the problem remained. I tried all the sound drivers available, including the beta one's from Realtek official web, and toshiba web: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false , and http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2209703&rpn=PSLC8U&modelFilter=&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663 , and it didn't work. I tried running the game on compatibility mode, it didn't work either. It's like i tried all kind of options..... but nothing seem to work (the only thing that worked is turning off my sound drive, it fixed the ping. but i would have to play without sound) pls help ............................................................... The last downloaded sound drive, and the one that i have right now is: Realtek high definition audio v. 6.0.1.5904 I pressed properties, on sound drive, went to details, scrolled down in property to capabilities, and there's a Value: 00000000 DID i do it wrong?
