How to Pre-Order Windows 7 Upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional in my country (Serbia)?Bratislav, Serbia

Baty - At this point, I don't believe there's a preorder option for your country. Preorders are only being taken right now in the US, Canada, Japan. Starting July 15th, those in the UK, France and Germany will get a shot at a pre-order. I believe they also mentioned China at some point. But the rest of the world - at the moment - I'm sorry to report - is out of luck - unless they've got friends in one of those countries.

Ja koliko znam ,,, malo ko od nas ima jedan, izuzev mene ja sam dobio originalni uz laptop,,, htio to ili ne... Ok back to topic ... when will the upgrades be available for sale,,, i have a original vista home premium which came on my lapop Hp Pavilion,,, will i be able to upgrade and when i am how much will it cost?????

Ako misli na Windows, ja imam legalan Windows XP Home Edition, kupljen sa novim raunarom, registrovan na moje ime jo 2003 godine ako se to rauna, a video sam u pre-order obavetenju da se nudi upgrade i za korisnike XP-a, pa sam zato i poslao ovo pitanje. U svakom sluaju, ja u Windows 7 da kupim na ovaj ili onaj nain sa ili bez mogunosti upgrade-a!Hvala na pomoi i odgovorima svima kojiodgovaraju na naa pitanja a Windows / razvojnom timu elim sve najbolje u daljem radu do konane verzije ovog, za sada izuzetnog operativnog sistema!Puno pozdrava jo jednom i HVALA!

I believe that many places will see it available on October 22nd or 23rd. Some languages will be available on October 31st. No idea what pricing will be in your neck of the woods either.

Baty - By the by... Is Serbia currently a member of the European Union? If so, there may not be an "upgrade" version of Windows 7 available in your country. Thanks to the folks at Opera who have lodged a complaint with the European Commission, Microsoft launched a preemptive strike by creating Windows 7-E. It comes with NO browser installed. As such, this will be the only version available to the EU. If you're NOT currently a member, there may, or may not be an upgrade version available.
