Windows 7 Print spooler
Have 2 new HP(Windows 7 home premium) desktop's, a HP laptop(Windows XP) and another desktop(Windows XP) sharing a home network. I removed a Samsung ML-2010(shared on a Win 7 machine) from network as XP machines had trouble with x64 drivers. All the while the 2 Win 7 machines had issues with print spooler stopping for no reason. I have tried using info on web to clean corrupted drivers, removed HP drivers and reinstalled same-no help. Now have a HP multifunction(M1212nf) on network(not shared) and guess what? Both Win XP work fine, but Win 7 STILL HAVE PRINT SPOOLER STOPPING FOR NO REASON! Has anyone come up with a program to run at "services\printspooler\properties\recovery\1st. failure"? Where is Microsoft support on this issue?

Hi, Usually, this situation is caused by the printer driver, so please fully uninstall all the printer driver. Then please refer the following link to add the printer manually. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprohardware/thread/2c055ac8-b79e-4f30-a53d-798e69ed8d2f For detailed information, you may refer to the following link. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprohardware/thread/2b618d54-854a-4cfd-84f5-f069aad75a9f Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
