Windows 7 Printer problems
Hi I have problems printing using Windows 7 / Word 2007. It is very slooooooowww. OS is Windows 7 64-bit, printer is an Eposon Stylus Photo RX640. Have downloaded latest drivers from Epson, but no improvement. Printer is attached but also part of a network. Any suggestions, please?

What part is slow? The printing operation itself? From the local computer? Is the printer attached via USB?In short, can you please be more specific? For what it's worth not all printer drivers like being shared on the network. These things will no doubt get worked out as Windows 7 grows older.-Noel

Thanks, Noel. 'Yes' to all your questions. I think maybe I should rename the printer as 'local' only. Sure you're right about Windows 7 but it's a pretty basic glitch.
