Windows 7 Pro XP Mode and Cisco VPN won't connect
When I was running the RC for Windows 7 I had set up XP Mode and installed Cisco VPN software and could RDC into my computer at the office and work remotely. I installed the release version of Windows 7 Professional 64bit and once again installed XP Mode and my Cisco software but now I can no longer connect. The Cisco software acts like it connects but when I go to Statistics in the client I see outbound traffic and no inbound. When I go to the log file it appears that Virtual PC assigns .254 as the gateway. When I launch the VPN it tries to tunnel on the gateway + 1 which is 255. That is where the VPN client errors. I'm not real sure if this is the issue or not, but it's the first thing I came across. This is the error I'm getting when attaching 1 02:35:05.101 12/10/09 Sev=Warning/2 CVPND/0xE3400013 AddRoute failed to add a route: code 87 Destination 192.168.131.255 Netmask 255.255.255.255 Gateway 10.0.0.1 Interface 10.192.5.19 2 02:35:05.101 12/10/09 Sev=Warning/2 CM/0xA3100024 Unable to add route. Network: c0a883ff, Netmask: ffffffff, Interface: ac00513, Gateway: a000001. When I do an ipconfig it tells me the default gateway is 192.168.131.254. Isn't .255 the broadcast address? Any ideas? Thanks

We now have two more employees that are in the same situation, getting the exact same errors.
