Windows 7 Professional 32-bit has red x on network connection
I have one user out of 7 with Windows 7 that cannot print to a network printer. He can map the network printers but cannot print to them. The only difference I've noticed is that he has a red x on the network connection in the taskbar.
He is a member of the domain. I've turned the DHCP client to manual. Suggestions?
thanks,
Sean

Clarification:
He can print to network printers connected directly to the network, he cannot print to printers that are shared on the network.

Got rid of the red x on the network icon by removing the incoming connections setup and re-booting. Still can't print to the shared printers.

Looks like the security connection between the computer and domain is a problem. Have you tried to remove the computer from the domain and re-add it?
Thanks
