Windows 7 RC1 vs docking and dual-head
I have a Lenovo T400 notebook with Windows 7 RC. I also have a docking station for it at my workplace, with two monitors attached. My pain is that I can't make Windows remember that there are two monitors and they should use them. Every morning I start the day with display configuration. Windows sees the monitors, but one if them is a duplicate of the built-in display (with the resolution of the built-in display of course) and the other is disconnected. Is there any way to overcome this issue? Thanks,-- Erik -- http://blog.rollback.hu

Erik, Are either of the monitors identified as generic PnP, or do they both have the correct drivers installed? This forum post suggests that Windows Vista saves display settings on a per-driver basis, and the behavior may be the same in Windows 7.-Alex
