Windows 7 Restart Dialogue Box after Restart
My Windows 7 - 32 bit has started posting a "restart" dialogue box after booting into the main screen. It happens no matter whether the system has be rebooted or cold booted - same dialogue box telling me that "Windows needs to restart! Yes / No" Have no idea why this happens. Win 7 was installed by full install after wiping the hard-drive of Vista. No files from Vista seem to be on PC. Thanks Terry Swift

Hi Terry, Please check if there is any update failed to be installed from Control Panel -> Programs and Features > View installed updates. Also, access Clean Boot to check the issue. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue. If the issue persists, you can run the anti-virus an anti-spyware software to see if there is any suspicious items. If there is no security software available, try Microsoft Security Essentials. Hope this helps. Regards, Linda
