Windows 7 Security Service Center Remains Disabled
My system tray keeps showing me the flagged message "Turn on Windows Security Center service (Important)" but when I click, it says "The Windows Security Center service can't be started." Then, I found some suggestion about starting the services.msc - by clicking on properties, choosing automatic and then clicking start, but the security center (under services) reverts back to "disabled" & "can't be started". I'm running Windows 7, Ad-aware, Malwarebytes & Avg free. I had a "redirect" virus which would redirect any search i made with any browser & search engines but Malwarebytes healed & removed that. All other scans have come back clean. Any help will be greatfully appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, After checking this issue, please take the following steps to troubleshoot: 1. I doubt that the issue just occurred recently, try to perform System Restore to get back to a previous time which Windows 7 worked fine. 2. I notice that you are running three anti-virus programs on a same computer, it is recommended to reserve one anti-virus application on a computer, please choose one of the three anti-virus applications, and then check the result. 3. Check if the file wscui.cpl is in Windows\system32 folder. If so, double click to run system center; if the file is missing, please copy this file from another Windows 7. Hope it helps.
