Windows 7 Ultimate print issues
I am unable to print to any of my printers. I am running windows 7 Ultimate on a domain. unsuccessful printing to either the locally attached printer or the network printers. When I run the Windows print troubleshooting, nothing happens. all of my printers are still showing up in Devices and Printers but when I try to print to any of them, I get the following message; "There was an error when printing started. To check the printer setup, double click on the printers icon in windows control panel." I have not found anything wrong with the printer configuration. Nor when I try and add a new printer does this solve my problem. I have deleted a printer and tried to reinstall it. it doesn't solve the problem. The problems exists across all programs.

Hi, Would you please let me know which program you printed from? How many printers are installed? If you have several, try to remove other and keep on for testing. The issue could be caused by incorrect setup, drivers or Security program. If any security program is installed, temp disable it. Also go to load the latest printer driver manually, remove the current one and install the new one. After that, make sure the print spooler service is running properly. Check Print Spooler service ---------------------------------------- 1. Click Start, type Services.msc in Start Search bar, and then press Enter. 2. In the right pane, double-click Print Spooler. 3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, click Apply, click Start, and then click OK. Best Regards, NikiPlease remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
