Windows 7 Upgrade
I received an email telling me that since I purchased my HP G60-235DX laptop last year in April that I would be elidgible to get a copy of Windows 7 free . I am running windows 7 RC right now. I was turned down for the upgrade because I do not have my original receipt. I did provide a copy of my credit card statement ,when I purchased it . Now they want to turn me down. Had I know about Vista and the problems I have had with it ( I cannot access Bank Accounts ,IRA Accounts, etc,) I would have waited to purchase this laptop. At this time I am very unhappy . Should this upgrde come from Windows or HP ? I do not know . They have my serial numbers and everything else about this computer ,it should not be a problem. My account # is 220758746,I believe that is with HP offering the upgrades . Any help out there .
