Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor does not work
I've downloaded Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and pressed the "Run" button, but nothing happens at all. I've downloaded it several times now and pressed the "Run" button on each occasion, but nothing happens.I'm running a Windows XP computer.

Same problem here. I have tried extracting through winrar, doing a clean boot etc. but the neither the runfirst.cmd not the .exe file runs. I have also tried to get it to work from the command prompt, also to no avail

Hi, If your current operating system is Windows XP, I would like to confirm the following questions: 1. Have you upgraded to Windows XP Service Pack 2? 2. Do you have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher installed? According to the system requirements for Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, you must have Windows XP Service Pack 2 with Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher installed. You may run Windows Update to upgrade Windows XP. In addition, here is the download link for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=d0e5dea7-ac26-4ad7-b68c-fe5076bba986 After that, you may install the latest version of Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor Mr. Seven provided and run it in Clean Boot. Good luck!Arthur Li - MSFT
