Windows 7 WIFI connection issue
Hello, Here is my issue. I have an HP Win 7 Pro notebook that can successfully connect to any WIFI connection but my own. All other devices in my home (three different smart phones, a desktop, my ipad, and my work laptop) connect and browse successfully where all i can do is ping. Here are my ipconfig settings: C:\Windows\system32>ipconfig /all Windows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : MRScott-PC Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No System Quarantine State . . . . . : Not Restricted Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 5C-AC-4C-9A-D1-50 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::8912:f5a8:5fd1:d38%19(Preferred) IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.30(Preferred) Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : 01 July, 2012 15:23:02 Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : 02 July, 2012 12:23:35 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 408726604 DHCPv6 Client DUID. . . . . . . . : 00-01-00-01-16-80-9A-03-60-EB-69-3B-D0-B5 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 60-EB-69-3B-D0-B5 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Tunnel adapter isatap.{602F661B-6407-441A-83C3-A467BA0F43F0}: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Microsoft ISATAP Adapter Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-E0 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Tunnel adapter Local Area Connection* 9: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-E0 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes IPv6 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 2001:0:4137:9e76:3884:2eda:9d33:b4d8(Pref erred) Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::3884:2eda:9d33:b4d8%11(Preferred) Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : :: NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Disabled Tunnel adapter isatap.{725F1B0F-F25D-49BE-B82F-640C85FE6162}: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Microsoft ISATAP Adapter #4 Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-E0 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
