Hi For some reason most evenings and during the day occasionally my windows 7 machine stops accepting lookups from my primary dns server (a windows 2003 machine) and defaults to looking it up via my secondary dns server (router). This currently causes the wrong results to be returned. I am unsure if this is happening to a vista client as i have not checked it yet, however when the problem occurs i need to run the following commands ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renew or reboot to solve the issue. Any ideas why this is happening.

part from all the basic stuff ... what happens when you add the DNS statically ?? maybe the PnP is trying ot take over the network ?????
