Windows 7 and Roaming Profiles
So. I was using my test environment to push out several roaming profiles in a Win 7 environment also using Folder Redireciton already setup. This worked successfully changing the test user accounts profile path to \\servername\servershare\%username%. However, to test a live environment user I used my own and came upon this issue that is present only when I log into my own machine. Instead of searching \\servername\sharename\%username% for the profile, my personal workstation is attempting to search \\IT-1\sharename\%username% where IT-1 is the name of the local machine. I have administratively deleted out the profile from the pc as it is active on the server using the system proterties profile management tool but the machine continues to give the error when logged in under my account. I have tested 3 other machines and do not receive this error. Any ideas on cause and how to fix? Update: EventData FromFolder Music ToFolder \\PRDC02\Personal Drives\ndoyle001\My Documents\My Music Options 0x9021 Error Failed to build the list of regular subfolders under "\\IT-1\Personal Drives\ndoyle001\My Documents\My Music" ErrorDetails The network name cannot be found. That's one of the folder redirection errors I am encountering that is causing the issue.
