Windows 7 backup issues
Hi, I'm running windows 7 backup on an older computer (AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.00GHz with 2GB ram). I'm trying to backup two location: My documents (on the system HDD) and Pictures (on different internal HDD). the overall size is around 125GB. The backup destination is to an external USB HDD (WD My Book ES USB) configured for performance. Now, for the issues: Backup is very slow - when I check the backup folder I can see that every two minutes another 200MB zip file is created (rate is 0.1GB per minute) which mean that full backup is taking more then 20 hours. No incremental backup - the first backup set was creating by pressing "Backup now" in the backup & restore dialog. like I said, it took forever but it was done without errors for all I know. the second backup was done using the scheduler, after a week, and instead of creating a backup for new and updated files it created a full backup again (around 125GB) I know I haven't changed or added so many files. Any suggestions?

Hi rbarak,Aplologies forthe delay in replying to this one. How are your backups doing now? Are backups running incrementals properly? Pleaseopenmanage space UI (Backup and Restore center ->Manage space)to see how many backup sets are present and whatis the time periodin which a new backup set (full) is getting created.Regarding backup performance, we made some improvements during RC and are already tracking this on our side for future releases. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks,Sneha[MSFT]
