Hello !Each time I start my computer (virtual machine in fact), AVG anti-viruse attempt to update, but each time, Windows blocks it ! Hope it'll be corrected quickly.

I am running AVG 8.0 free and it doesn't block it at all. Check the windows 7 firewall and make sure the avgupdater is in there, if not add it.robin

oh i am using virtual pc 2007 also. Try to do also a manual update and see if that works, I just retested it to see if mine was not working and the first time it failed but the second time it went.Hey I get this now and then on xp and vista so i believe it is not a function of windows 7 but make sure you try it a few times and if it still is stopping it you still want to make sure windows firewall is not preventing it from runningrobin

OK it was allowed, but only in private. I ticked and it seems to work.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I upgraded to Window 7 from Vista and installed AVG 8.0 Free. When I tried to uninstall AVG using REVO uninstaller I found that I couldnt. As soon as I pressed uninstall the next thing that I was looking at was the Blue Screen of Death. I finally had to do a complete reinstall of Vista and then upgrade again. Jim
