Windows 7 clients in domain report time 2 minutes early
In our domain, within the same site, we have a mixed environment of Windows XP and Windows 7 clients. They automatically synchronize their time from the server, and the server syncs its time from the PDC.
They are all reporting to have the exact same time, except in that specific site, all Windows 7 clients are running 2 minutes behind. This has been the case for weeks. I've checked the output of "w32tm /monitor" on both XP and 7, and both are pretty much
the same.
Any idea what might be causing this, or how to fix this? It's probably something trivial..

Is this a real problem or you feel like it? What are the consequences of time difference? Would you reveal the structure of your network?
1. If your computers are members of Active Directory, then
a. There is default 300 second window for kerberos to work without problem.
b. DC that holds FSMO roles is a time "standard" for domain members
2. Double check DNS settings as well as active network devices. Hope you have not any public DNS value in network interface settings.
3. What is the record in system event log when you restart Windows Time service on affected computers?
