Windows 7 crashes after upgrade to Ultimate
After upgrading from Windows 7 Professional to Ultimate windows shutdown then rebooted. After displaying logo the computer restarts. When trying to go back to a restore point with original OEM disk it says that it was unable to restore to the selected point, but no other restore points are displayed. I have 2 operating systems installed on my computer (Ubuntu Studio and Windows 7), Ubuntu still works. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Computer Specs. Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H (2) 1Tb WD HDD, with 1 operating system each 600 watt OCZ power supply 4 core 3.2Ghz AMD processor 4 Gb DDR3 memory

After choosing to boot into Windows I am given 2 options, Start up repair or Start normally. Normal boot displays the windows trademark then reboots without any error message. I have tried everything in Start up repair but nothing is working so far. I do have the original OEM installation disk for 7 Home Premium.

try to press F8 at startup and start safe mode. Start your computer in safe mode Advanced startup options (including safe mode ) If this also fails, your Windows has serious issues. You can try to restore the bootmgr with the recovery options: What are the system recovery options in Windows 7?"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" Want to install RSAT on Windows 7 Sp1?
