i bought a new sony vaio laptop and i have plugged in my orange dongle but its really slow, but i had a laptop before with vista and xp that worked fine and was quick. so i thought maybe there is a program that is stealing my internet. anyone got any ideas?

If so, you may try to upgrade the driver to latest version to have a test.
