Ok, so I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop, and when it started, I went to the start meu, there was nothing on the main list except a tab that said all programs, and on the list on the right it had stuff like my comp, control panel, etc. So, I went to access my computer (on the main (administrator) account) and it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". I tried restarting 3 times and it still denies my access. However, If I use safe mode it works perfectly fine. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Please help!thanks in advance

Anon, how did you install Windows 7? Did you do a clean install, an upgrade from Vista, or an upgrade from XP?
