Windows 7 recovery issues.
I have a duel boot system with Windows 7 64 bit and Windows XP 32 bit. Each Operating System is on a separate hard drive. I turned off the PC while it was booting up and seems to have corrupted the Master Boot Record-Registry File. The error message tells
me to run the set up disc, which I have tried to do but for some reason the computer will not read either recovery disk. Therefore I cannot access the recovery console to repair the the Master Boot Record-Registry File. Should it be a simple matter of accessing
another PC to create a Recovery Console disc to repair the Master Boot File. If not, how can I resolve this issue?

Your issue can be easily resolved by downloading and configuring
EasyBCD.

Yes, just use the Vista nomenclature as it is virtually the same as Windows 7.Carey Frisch
