Windows 7 restore default file ownership and file access privileges for "Documents and Settings" folder
Documents and Settings. I somehow whacked the settings for this folder. (My HTPC, wireless keyboard and mouse beyond its range, Application crash and hang, its easier than you think). I took ownership with my default user, now I would like to "restore"the default original settings. Is this documented somewhere? Is there a script I could run that would do this?old guy

This behavior is by design. Documents and Settings is a junction. It is designed for programs that are designed for Windows XP. If a program access this folder it actually access the folder C:\Users.
