Windows 7 tftp client is timinig out
Hello all - I have Windows 7 tftp client connection that I am trying to connect to the free Solarwinds tftp server on a 2K3 box. If I connect with a XP box then the PUT and Get work fine. If I try with my 7 box it times out. In some other web posts It has been noted that because 7 uses CTCP the connection window is to short for TFTP to work. The suggestion was to disable CTCP with the following command - "netsh interface tcp set global congestionprovider=none" I know that CTCP is disabled by default for vista and 7 but just to be sure I ran it anyway. running the "netsh interface tcp show global" confirmed that CTCP was not running. http://superuser.com/questions/30001/why-is-tftp-put-failing-on-windows-7 I still get the same error. I also tried Technet and did not see any document relevant to this issue. Any help resloving this issue would be great. Thanks Slay8

Hi Slay , You should check your firewall settings because it seems to be that something is blocking it so kindly check your Windows Firewall or even any 3rd party firewall if you have installed in your PC.
